Bob Salov, EMT-IV, Director Cambridge Area EMS

CAEMS has provided pre-hospital emergency care to the Fire and EMS District in Southeast Dane County, Wisconsin since 1979.   The district consists of five municipalities who joined together to provide 24/7/365 emergency availability.  CAEMS serves portions of Dane and Jefferson Counties.  The District includes the following:
  • Town of Oakland (Jefferson County)
  • Village of Cambridge
  • Town of Lake Mills (Jefferson County)
  • Town of Christiana
  • Village of Rockdale
We cover about 70 square miles with approximately 7,000 residents in these predominately rural communities. We are also responsible for a portion of the federal interstate highway system of I-90 and I-39. In 2017 we responded to 565 calls for service. We are an Advanced Emergency service and looking forward to providing Paramedic level service according to Act 97 when permitted. And as Emergency Medical Services throughout the country moves rapidly into the future with advanced EMT and Paramedic training and advancing equipment we look forward to meeting those challenges to continue improving our service. I am available to discuss our services with you at any time. Please contact me at 608-423-3511 or at  director@cambridgeems.org
